Patient's Experiences - Breast Surgery

One evening I went to a talk given by Mr Jesper Sorensen and was very impressed by his obvious knowledge of all aspects of breast surgery, his experience and his friendly manner. I booked a consultation with him and felt confident with him as he treated me as an individual spending a lot of time with me.

I was an extremely nervous patient, almost canceling several times, but Jesper Sorensen was reassuring and sympathetic. The whole procedure was much easier than I had expected as was the recovery afterwards. The result is very natural looking, the scars do not show now, and I am delighted with my breasts. I feel more confident and more attractive, and I think clothes look better on me now.

I would highly recommend Jesper Sorensen - he is a wonderful surgeon with a very warm and professional manner.

At the initial consultation, I was quite scared, actually I was quite terrified. Plastic surgery was a foreign notion to me and I didn’t know what to expect. Dr Sorensen was immediately assuring, understanding, and calming. These qualities prevail to this day, and sometimes it seems that the phrase “a safe pair of hands” was written exclusively with him in mind.

His surgical work is extraordinary – I had done my research and knew what I could expect in terms of outcome, results and scarring, but Dr Sorensen went the extra mile – my scars are minimal and the work is incredible. He went over and beyond not only to meet my expectations – but to exceed them. He is a self-proclaimed perfectionist, which is no bad thing in your plastic surgeon!

For the follow ups – which are all included in his service, nothing is too much trouble. To say he cares about his work and his patients is a gross understatement – it is almost as if he has a personal contract with you, and he won’t stop being involved until both he and his patients “sign off” on the successful surgery.

Despite being a complex case due to my past circumstances, I had no complications – which would statistically have been expected…and this is a testament to his workmanship, his dedication and his aftercare.

I believe the key recommendation for any product or service is whether or not somebody would return to “buy” again, and to this end I can confirm that I having another treatment in a few weeks and the final part of my body sculpting in the summer – both of which Dr Sorensen is performing. While I could get these on the NHS, or opt for any other clinic or surgeon – I choose Dr Sorensen and I would choose him again and again over any other option. I lucked out finding him in the first place, and I am not about to walk away from the best.

Dr Sorensen treats his work as an art as much as a science, and there really is nothing more you can ask for when you’re putting somebody in charge of your body.

After giving birth to three lovely children and breast feeding I felt that my breasts were in desperate need of some help. Prior to my surgery I did a lot of research about procedures, doctors and implants and decided to meet with Dr Sorensen because of his expertise with anatomical breast implants - looking natural was important to me. 

Already at our first meeting I knew this was the right decision. My surgery went well and Dr Sorensen and his team were absolutely the best. I have gone from a small A to a full C and they look fantastic. Of course there was pain and soreness for a couple of days, but it was totally worth every ache!

He told me that I had 'tubular' breasts and that he could remedy this by the use of tear drop shaped cohesive gel implants under the muscle via a small incision in the lower half of the nipple.

I spent the next two years researching methodology and comparing what had been advised with other surgeons.

To cut a very long story short, I decided to go ahead with this augmentation along with having my upper eyelids done at the same time. To say that I am over the moon with the results, is an understatement!

Dr Sorensen and his team have given me my life back and taken years off my appearance. My eyes are wonderful and I cannot believe the transformation or the constant compliments that I receive. My breasts have gone from being hidden away and ashamed of to being 'shown off' in a discreet way, frequently.

Both procedures have completely changed my life in that I now have so much more confidence and don’t hide away as I used to do.

Would I recommend Dr Sorensen and his team? Without a seconds hesitation. Would I consider further cosmetic procedures with Dr Sorensen? Absolutely without question. Nothing was ever too much trouble. All my questions (often repeated by me) were answered honestly. All of the risks were explained fully whilst still putting my mind at ease. Each visit to the clinic was a pleasure and time was allowed rather than the feeling of being rushed into making a decision. The hospital stay and procedure was exactly as advised and I was made to feel welcome and very relaxed.

I also feel that it is important to mention that I am a working mum and took out a 'loan' to cover these procedures. Yes, I could have gone elsewhere and probably had a similar procedure performed but not with the end result that I now have viz, almost Zero scarring and having taken misshaped, tubular breasts and transformed them into very natural looking, beautiful breasts that I previously would have only dreamed about.

I have to thank Dr Sorensen and his team for this and I smile each day now with pride.

I was fully supported throughout the process with helpful advice on what to do before and after the surgery, and a follow-up discussion on the end result, which I am absolutely delighted with!

Dr Sorensen is very professional and a real perfectionist - I know that if I ever have any queries he would have no hesitation in seeing me and that gives me total peace of mind.

I would highly recommend his care and expertise.

Mr. Sorensen was recommended to me by a friend, and after the initial consultation I felt 100% confident in my decision to go ahead with the procedure.

The end result is quite simply perfect and has exceeded all my expectations.

I was extremely anxious about the surgery and found the friendly call from Jane the night before very helpful to ease my nerves a little. Dr Sorensen was at all times amazing and spent a lot of time discussing the procedure with me again on the day of the operation, he did a great job of keeping me calm and well informed at all times.

I have just recently had my 3 month check-up, the results are incredible I now have D cup breasts that look totally natural, this is exactly what I asked for during my first consultation. Dr Sorensen and his team have made what for me was a very stressful time as easy and worry free as possible.
